ABOUT
HAYLEE
I believe cooking should be fun, approachable, and something anyone can learn to love.
And before you think I was born knowing how to make the perfect dinner—I wasn’t. When I first started cooking, I had no idea what I was doing either. There was a lot of guessing, a little experimenting, and probably a few meals that are better left forgotten. But that’s how you learn.
The truth is, you don’t have to know everything before you start. You just have to be willing to try. Once you learn a few basics, gain a little confidence, and realize that not every recipe has to be followed like a set of courtroom rules, cooking gets a whole lot more fun.
I create recipes for the person who is just starting to find their way around the kitchen, as well as the person who already knows their way around it but is always looking for something new to make.
My recipes are meant to teach you while you cook, give you room to make them your own, and—most importantly—make you want to keep coming back to the kitchen.
So whether you’re learning how to cook your very first meal or you’ve been cooking for years, remember: you don't have to be an expert. You just have to start.
And if something goes wrong? Well… order pizza, laugh about it, and try again tomorrow. 😉
